I offer several services tailored to the specific areas of concern. For evaluations, I use a flat fee structure, so there is no uncertainty about hourly rates or how long the process will take. Every evaluation includes direct assessment, observations*, a comprehensive written report with individualized recommendations, and a feedback session to review the findings together. For children and teens, recommendations often focus on strategies for parents and teachers to support success in school. For adults, the report provides practical insights and guidance for educational, vocational, and personal growth. Additionally, I offer consultation services, which are billed by the hour.
*Classroom or school observations are included for all child and teen evaluations, except Cognitive/IQ and Targeted Learning, depending on the school’s cooperation. Testing and clinical observations are included in all evaluations.
Cognitive/IQ testing is designed for situations where there are no concerns about academic progress but you’d like to better understand learning style or explore the possibility of giftedness. This type of assessment can be helpful for both children and adults seeking clarity about their cognitive strengths.
A Targeted Learning Assessment focuses on concerns in a specific academic area, such as reading, writing, or math. Results provide clarity about the challenges and practical strategies to support stronger skills and confidence, whether for a child in school or an adult in higher education.
A Psychoeducational Assessment helps identify learning, academic, or social-emotional challenges and provides a clear understanding of strengths and areas needing support. It offers actionable strategies to help children or adults succeed in school, higher education, or other learning environments.
An Autism Assessment helps identify differences in social communication, interaction, and related behaviors. Results provide understanding and practical recommendations to support children or adults in school.
A School Neuropsychological Assessment is recommended if you or your child have a known or suspected neurological condition, brain injury, or if previous evaluations have not fully clarified learning or developmental challenges.
If your child has been assessed through your public school district and you disagree with the results or feel it was inappropriate, inadequate, or incomplete.
Consultation services include, but are not limited to: parent consultation, family consultation, or support for IEP or 504 team meetings.
Let's chat! I am happy to guide you as to which assessment will best help you and your child!
